Kigali City tour- old town (Nyamirambo and New suburbs- vision City

Nyamirambo is one of the oldest and most vibrant neighborhoods in Kigali. It is known for its narrow streets, colorful buildings, and lively atmosphere. Nyamirambo is also home to a number of historical and cultural attractions, including the Nyamirambo Mosque, Kigali Pele Stadium and car free zone vibrant restaurants. 

• Visit the Nyamirambo Mosque: The Nyamirambo Mosque is one of the largest and most important mosques in Rwanda. It was built in 1938 and it is a popular tourist destination.
• Explore the narrow streets and alleyways: Nyamirambo is a great place to wander around and explore. The narrow streets and alleyways are full of interesting shops, restaurants, and cafes.
• Sample the local cuisine: Nyamirambo is home to a number of restaurants that serve traditional Rwandan cuisine. Be sure to try some of the local dishes, such as inyama y’amasaka (beef skewers) and brochettes (goat skewers).

Kigali Vision City is a multi-phase housing development in Kigali, Rwanda, being built by Ultimate Developers Ltd for the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB). At 4500 units and a total cost of 150 million USD it is the largest residential housing project in the country’s history. The first 500 units were completed in 2017.

Kigali Vision City is designed to be a mixed-use development with residential, commercial, and recreational facilities. The residential component will include a variety of housing types, including apartments, townhouses, and villas. The commercial component will include offices, retail stores, and restaurants. The recreational component will include parks, playgrounds, and a sports complex.
